I know Raspberry Pis are difficult to find these days, but I’m starting to see more stock appear in various regions. André Costa created a terrific tool, he designed a site that tracks most of the official RPi distributors stock, which can be found in the description below.

Anyway, I thought we’d look at some lightweight Linux distros that you can run on your RPi, and if you have another type of single board computer that supports Linux, you can try it on those as well. I won’t go into detail about the installation and configuration of the distros I’m demonstrating, but we will be poking around a bit and from first boot you will see how much tweaking I have to perform after it’s installed.
